1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "Customer") and NOVAVISIONCONSULTING-FZCO (trading as "CrawlFence", "we", "us"), a company registered in Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE. By accessing or using the CrawlFence website or service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Acceptance

By submitting a URL for scanning, purchasing a report, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and our Privacy Notice and Refund Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. The service

CrawlFence scans publicly accessible information from URLs you submit and generates a free preview and an optional paid CrawlFence Protection Report describing observed signals related to AI crawler exposure, hosting, and legal pages. The service provides technical and legal-structural information only and is not legal advice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit URLs you do not own or are not authorised to scan, including private networks or internal hostnames;
• use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or for spam;
• infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including probing, scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempting to bypass access controls;
• introduce malware or otherwise harm the service or other users.

5. Intellectual property

CrawlFence, including the website, software, scan engine, report templates, branding, and documentation, is owned by NOVAVISIONCONSULTING-FZCO and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and any paid report you purchase for your own internal business or personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or sub-license our content without our prior written consent.

6. Payments, billing and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. The CrawlFence Protection Report is a one-time purchase at the price displayed on our pricing page at the time of order. Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of taxes as indicated at checkout; applicable VAT/GST is calculated and collected by Paddle.

7. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. Refund requests are handled by Paddle.

8. No guarantees

CrawlFence cannot guarantee that any crawler — AI or otherwise — will respect technical instructions such as robots.txt. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not provide legal enforcement, IP enforcement, or removal of content from existing AI models.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amounts you paid us (via Paddle) in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if you (a) materially breach these Terms; (b) fail to pay amounts due; (c) create a security, fraud, or abuse risk; or (d) repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

11. Changes to the service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue the service, and may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted on this page (see "Last updated" date). Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Dubai have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
